Jeni planned to become a textile artist when she retired but due to becoming visually impaired, she took up writing instead. Shanti is an illustrator who, as a teacher, worked with children for many years whilst pursuing an interest in painting and artwork. Jeni met Shanti whilst both were working for the same cooperative gallery. Jeni loved the magical quality of her work and they both shared a joy for creative activities.
